Dariel Solutions Achieves Strong Broad-Based Black Economic Empowerment (BBBEE) Rating
Dariel Solutions, a leading South African based professional IT services company and systems integrator is proud to announce confirmation on its BBBEE status - which has been verified as a Level 5, holding an overall rating of 80%. This rating was issued by EmpowerDEX, South Africa's first BEE ratings agency that monitors and quantifies goals and progress of economic empowerment.
"We are exceptionally proud of this rating which highlights our strong commitment to empowerment. This rating coupled with our 38% employee growth since January 2006, will allow us to continue to aggressively solidify our existing strong hold within the local IT market, while placing us an ideal position to service our client's transformation requirements effectively," says Malcolm Rabson, managing director of Dariel Solutions. "We have always maintained a strong commitment to the principals of BBBEE to support Governments transformation objectives and ICT charter policies."
The rating report is based on information provided to EmpowerDEX and is an independent opinion based on validation and an analysis audit performed at the date of certification. Mpho Munyai, rating analyst at EmpowerDEX says; "The report highlights Dariel Solution's unrestricted operational capacity and exceptional contribution in specific areas of BBBEE. As a homegrown company, committed to local transformation and development, this positive step towards addressing criteria of empowerment and transformation is a fundamental achievement and Dariel Solutions has set an example for other medium enterprises to follow."
Rabson continues; "Since our inception in 2001, Dariel has incorporated BEE processes into our organisational policies. Where possible, we have and will continue to seek to transform our staff, particularly those from previously disadvantaged backgrounds, from employees into shareholders and with 98 percent of shareholders actively employed by the company, this goal is set at an achievable measurement."
