Solution: Online trading application
Dariel Solutions developed a new version of a global online trading system on an outsourced basis for a leading derivative trading company. The system offers trading in Futures, although other financial instruments will be added in the near future. Scalability and response times were singled out as crucial aspects of the new system, which receives over 1-million feeds from Reuters per day.

Solution: Pensions system
After performing a software audit in which all the technology in this enterprise was examined and areas of strength, weakness and danger identified, Dariel Solutions was asked to redevelop the group's Pensions System. The new system is an outsourced project (from business analysis to implementation and maintenance). The company had a timeframe of 10 months in which it needed to have a new reliable system.

Solution: Underwriting system
Dariel Solutions has recently re developed the underwriting system of one of South Africa's prominent life insurance companies, providing the role of architecture design and development of the new application. In addition, Dariel Solutions has started a new engagement to redevelop a Services Launch Pad system for the company's brokers.

Solution: Hospital Administration System
This customer had aging legacy applications that were becoming more difficult and expensive to maintain and integrate into newer, more innovative technologies. To overcome this problem, Dariel Solutions developed a systems vision to take this company into the future. We first determined the business requirements, assessed the buy versus build options and then developed the architecture. Dariel Solutions also deployed a development environment, SDLC and methodology, including project tracking, test-based development, and agile development processes to support the ongoing process of developing key modules.

A large bank's existing environment lacked the architectural leadership and expertise the bank wanted and it had no formal development processes and standards. Dariel Solutions was assigned the task of determining the bank's architectural and development standards. We assessed the bank's existing technologies and determined the role of each in the future. In addition, Dariel Solutions provided services for the development of a regulatory reporting application and credit scoring application.

This company's outstanding growth and new requirements in the customer environment required a rapid-response development partner with strong processes to provide outsource software development and maintenance. Dariel Solutions was the partner of choice and provides outsourced development and maintenance services for the core gaming and back-office systems

Solution: Audit services and co-sourced software development
This customer was focused on the development and deployment of strategic global supply chain management systems and had questions on architectural direction before commencing a large development project. Dariel Solutions undertook an audit and provided architectural guidance for future direction. We were also appointed as a strategic partner for the development of the global supply chain application and other integrated modules.

This client's strategic legacy applications showed signs of aging and were starting to be viewed as risky. Dariel Solutions undertook an audit of four business and technical mining applications to assess the risk faced by the business, and specifically to identify what the risks were. We also developed a strategy for application replacement and risk reduction
